The original statue is believed to date back to the 1940s or later, and we've added a modern twist: a Hide-A-Key compartment discreetly placed in the bottom of the Mommy Hedgehog for convenience and security.

Material: This Hedgehog is crafted from high-quality CSA cement, a premium material that’s stronger and more durable than standard Portland-based concrete. CSA cement allows for a finer level of detail and is nearly twice as strong, ensuring that your statue stands the test of time. To further enhance the cosmetics of each piece, we mix in iron oxide pigments, giving the statue a rich, solid color throughout. This also helps to conceal any minor scratches or nicks that may occur over the years, keeping your statue looking great for much longer.

Finishes: Each little creature is meticulously hand-painted to achieve a beautiful, one-of-a-kind finish. We start with a base coat of weather-resistant exterior paint, followed by detailed acrylic paint applications. Finally, we seal with a layer of clear polyurethane for added protection and durability.
